As just stated by my good friend…everyone seems to be jumping on the Belgian bandwagon. After two good results this weekend they have finally caught everyones attention, and rightly so. The squad is brimming with talent: Alderweireld, Kompany, Vanden Borre, Vertonghen, Chadli, Defour, Hazard, Witsel, Dembele, Mirallas, Vossen, Ogunjimi and Lukaku. Hello..this week on the podcast I was joined by Chris Mayer from 6 pointer , Dave Bevan from the 72.com and Scott Johnston from the footyblog.net . We discuss this week’s four Champions League games. The pod answers how they think Chelsea will be lining up in the future, also answer whether Serie A is going backwards in terms of quality.

In part two, we take a look at our respective leagues of interest Chris (Belgium) Andrew (France) Scott (Scotland) Dave (The Championship) – and we pick out a team, a outstanding player and a young prospect to look out for. And we also pick out the most underrated players from the Premier League this season.

So plenty to look forward to, I hope you enjoy the show.

Oh and forgot to mention it on the show, but this week’s guest predictor is John-Burn Murdoch from the Trequerista site . Good luck John.

This is the start of a new series called Ligue 1 – 20 for 20 it will put 20 talented Ligue 1 players into the spotlight, one from each club. And I couldn’t think of a better way to start it all off.

If you’re looking for a goal scorer this is not your man. If it’s a player to take the game by the scruff of the neck, charge at defenders with pace and purpose making them look like rabbits in the headlights, dazzling skills and penetrating passes then look no further than Lille’s number 26, the Belgian wonderkid – Eden Hazard .

Ligue 1’s Young Player of the Year for two years running, Eden is a superb talent most people reading will surely heard his name, but perhaps you’ve not have had the delight of watching him play. After a relatively slow start to the season, the ever increasing form of Monsieur Hazard has catapulted Les Dogues up the league table, last week after a 2-1 win over Monaco saw them sit in Pole Position.
